This year’s Harpenden Quiz of Quizzes, organised by Rotary in Harpenden and held at St George’s School, attracted 32 teams. For trophy winners, Measure for Measure, this was their third victory, having taken part in all 27 years of the competition. They defeated the runners-up, Harpenden Lions Club, by four points.

As well as the challenge of the competition the 192 quizzers enjoyed a choice of hot suppers, produced by the renowned Godfrey’s and served at their tables.

Redbourn Community Food Club and Rotary Foundation were the main charities benefiting from the money raised by the event.
