Junior Schools’ Christmas Carol Concert

Singing for Charity

A choir drawn from 12 local junior schools provides the music at A Concert for Christmas which we hold in early December each year at High Street Methodist Church.

Performing before an audience of parents, the choir alone renders some modern carols, interspersed with several favourites to which the audience can add their voices. A collection is taken for charity.

Young photographers score with their ‘rebuilding’ shots

Our young photographers fared well in both the Harpenden heat of the Rotary Young Photographers Competition, and in the ensuing district level competition for Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire. They were asked to produce an image on the theme of ‘rebuilding’, which called for a stretch of imaginations. Our entrants did not disappoint!
