Congratulations to the three boys from Beechwood Park School, competing in the under 13 age group, who won the National Final of Rotary’s Youth Debate challenge.

The team – Aiden Burger, Joshua Davies and Tommy Nuback – had previously triumphed in Rotary in Harpenden’s local heat and then in the District and Regional stages before coming out on top in the national event, held in Rugby.

Aiden and Joshua were also recognised as Best Chairman and Best Opposer.

The trio owe a huge debt of thanks to Helen Beavis, their teacher and coach throughout the competition.
