Keen quizzers are seen puzzling over an evening full of challenging questions at Rotary in Harpenden’s Quiz of Quizzes, which this year celebrated its silver anniversary. 

Twenty-one teams competed for the coveted trophy, as well as enjoying a fish and chip supper, the bar and great raffle prizes. By a good points margin Measure for Measure emerged the champions.

Challenging? Fun? Good Value? YES! As one team put it: ‘Came last, had fun… see you next year!’

Thanks go to all the teams for their support and to those who donated raffle prizes.  Some £2500 was raised for charity, with Harpenden Mencap and End Polio Now the chief beneficiaries.

Next year’s Quiz of Quizzes will be on Friday 10 March, so polish up those little grey cells and watch out for more information nearer the time.
