Demonstrating creative technology talent

A record 37 teams of four entered this year’s Rotary Technology Tournament. All secondary schools in St Albans and Harpenden are invited to come along and face the challenge of building a working model in four hours. Students then demonstrate their products to a panel of expert judges.

Students’ comments such as “Enormous fun and really challenged our technology skills” and “We were under a lot of pressure but made it work perfectly in the end” together with “Not our best moment but we will come back next year and win!” showed both the enjoyment and determination of those taking part.
